Information. A 65-year-old Ormond Beach woman called police to report that her neighbor has been terrorizing and harassing her over the last year with his staring, which according to the report, she described as "menacing."
The woman told police that the neighbor has not spoken to her, but that she felt his staring is done on purpose as he will move his chair around on his property to look at her when she is outside. The woman added that she has
"been friendly" with the man's girlfriend in the past, but stated that is no longer the case.
Her friend, who was present when the report was taken, could not describe why the man's stare was menacing, but did demonstrate it for police.
Police spoke with the man who said he hadn't been harassing the woman. He explained that he sits outside to smoke because his girlfriend has a medical condition, and will move his chair around to be in the sun or breeze. The man's girlfriend said that she believed the woman filed the report "to cause trouble, because she has a reputation of starting trouble in the neighborhood."
Police advised all parties to avoid each other.

Disorderly intoxication. Police arrested a 33-year-old Tallahassee woman who was bothering patrons and stealing drinks at a local bar. She had been asked to leave several times, but had refused.
When they arrived at the scene, officers told the woman that the business was no longer allowing her to be there and asked her to get up from her chair and follow them. She refused and attempted to ignore officers, according to her arrest report.
A struggle ensued when police tried to remove her from the bar, after which officers where able to place her in handcuffs. The business wished to press charges.
Police report the woman was "extremely intoxicated" and didn't remember the events of the night, "rambling instead about other incidents in the past." At one point, she began to only speak in Spanish and ignore questions, the reporting officer detailed.
She was taken to jail.

Larceny. Over $12,000 worth of diesel fuel was recently reported stolen from a local gas station.
According to an incident report, a white Ford F150 was seen at the gas station on five different dates in March, during which the driver opened a locked computer compartment area and uses a device to bypass payment for the fuel. The suspect stole 2,415.68 gallons of diesel fuel.
This crime has also occurred in other gas stations in Florida and Georgia, the report states. Police were informed the fuel is likely being sold to truckers for a dollar less a gallon at a "known dirt lot" owned by the vehicle's registered owner.
