"We Will Rock You" features music and lyrics by Queen, story and script by Ben Elton, original vocal score by Mike Dixon, Brian May and Roger Tayler, with original orchestrations by Steve Sidwell, and the school edition prepared by Stuart Morley.

The story goes like this: In the ruins of a post-apocalyptic world, everything is online. There is no life and there is no love. There is only Globalsoft, led by the powerful dictator known as Killer Queen (Isabel Bethea/Anne Demelligo) and her henchman Khashoggi (Ethan Fink/Brandon Page). With the world under her ruthless control, she has removed all choice and self expression from the iPlanet, formerly known as Earth. She has even eliminated her one weakness: rock and roll.

However, Killer Queen has made one mistake, for she has not eliminated the spirit and legacy of the genre. Stuck with only the scraps of this once beautiful art, the Bohemians, led by Buddy (Jordan Hosier/Henson White), Brit (Xavier Torres/Corbin Payne) and Oz (Eliana Kraer/Leah Lehnertz), are trying to keep rock alive with their makeshift instruments and lost artifacts. They strive to fight against Globalsoft and its soulless downloadable music. All seems hopeless for them, until they are able to find who they have been looking for: The Dreamer, also known as Galileo Figaro (Andrew Khamtheang). Galileo Figaro must work with his fellow rebel, Scaramouche (Andrea Oliveras/Valerie Pritchard), and the Bohemians in order to fight for their right to rock.

Khamtheang, a senior who plays Galileo Figaro, had a few words to say of his own: “The music is so perfect, since it has upbeat songs, tearjerker songs, and epic songs such as Seven Seas of Rhye.”

When asked about his character, he said, “Galileo Figaro is a character of curiosity and charisma. He may have a debatable mindset when it comes to his dreams, but he’s charming and holds the uncontrollable power of the legends of music of the past.”
