Details: The Ormond Beach Historical Society's programs on Black History will continue through June. This series of programs focuses on the achievements of area residents in a variety of fields. This month's program will highlight the achievements of two local pastors: Charlie Freeman and Gary Pelhalm, who will tell the story of their education and careers in the local community. The Historical Society's current exhibit, "Jim Crow Era Propaganda and Artifacts in Florida" is also available to view. Program is free and open to the public. Visit ormondhistory.org.

Details: Saturate your senses in the sights, sounds and tastes of Celtic heritage with this annual festival featuring folk music, food and fun from the seven Celtic Nations and beyond. The festival, hosted by Ormond MainStreet, takes place over the two downtown bridge parks on the beachside and fills them with five music stages, a Highland Games, clans and Celtic societies from throughout the region. Tickets purchased in advance cost $12 per day; tickets purchased at the gate are $15 per day. Children 12 and under are free. Two-day passes cost $18, available online only. Details: The Daytona Tortugas invite the people of Ormond Beach to come out and see the Daytona Tortugas play the Bradenton Marauders. Details: Tanger Outlets is inviting shoppers to kick off Jeep Beach week with a food truck festival featuring over 20 food trucks, in addition to local businesses and artisans. The festival is hosted by Touch of Magic Events and is free and open to the public. Proceeds will benefit the Jeep Beach nonprofit, which distributes funds to the NASCAR Foundation, the Childhood Cancer Foundation and the Petty Family Foundation. There will be free bounce houses, face painting and more activities for kids.

Details: The library is offering two programs for adults who would rather work out while seated. On select Mondays, staff will lead "Sit and Be Fit" classes, which focus on stretch and strengthening exercises. On select Tuesdays, certified yoga instructor Carol Jones will offer a gentle chair yoga practice. Seating is limited. All fitness levels are welcome. Free and registrations are not required.
