Motorcyclist, 84, dies after crashing into guardrail on I-95

The crash is the third fatality on Flagler County roads since Friday, April 22.

An 84-year-old motorcyclist died the afternoon of April 25 after he lost control of his motorcycle on Interstate 95 in Flagler County and crashed into a guardrail, according to the Florida Highway Patrol. 

The crash occurred at approximately 1:06 p.m. as the motorcyclist, a Palm Coast man, rode north on the interstate in the area just south of State Road 100, according to a news release from the FHP. 

He was in the left lane when he hit the guardrail in the center median. The motorcyclist was thrown from the motorcycle into the paved shoulder on the eastern side of the northbound lanes, according to the news release. 

The man's death is the third fatality on Flagler County roads since Friday, April 22. The crash is still under investigation, according to the news release.
