Fletcher's Irish Pub and the Live Like Cameron Foundation helped raise over $75,000 for children battling cancer during the third-annual Shave for the Brave fundraiser held on Sunday, Dec. 11.
About 50 participants — including Ormond Beach City Commissioner Travis Sargent — got their beards, mustaches or even heads shaved by barbers of Proper Barber Co. The proceeds of the event will go toward Live Like Cameron's Christmas programs, which help bring a holiday experience to pediatric oncology patients in the hospital on Christmas morning as well as children battling cancer in Flagler and Volusia County who will be home for the holiday.
Last year's fundraiser collected over $50,000 for Live Like Cameron.
