Motorcyclist killed in crash on Old Kings Road

The motorcyclist, 65, was a resident of Oneonta, New York, according to a news release from the Florida Highway Patrol.

A motorcyclist was killed in a crash on Old Kings Road at Fairchild Oaks Boulevard the evening of Feb. 3, according to a news release from the Florida Highway Patrol. 

The motorcyclist, a 65-year-old man from Oneonta, New York, was heading north on Old Kings Road.

As the motorcyclist turned left onto Faircihld Oaks Boulevard at about 6:55 p.m., the motorcycle was struck by a southbound sport utility vehicle driven by a Flagler Beach resident.

The motorcyclist died of his injuries. The Flagler Beach resident, a 37-year-old man, was not injured. 

The Florida Highway Patrol is investigating, according to the news release.
