As a result of collaboration between the Tourist Development Council and over 50 arts and cultural heritage organizations within Flagler County, a new nonprofit organization has been formed.

The mission of the Cultural Council is to build unity among member organizations, engage in advocacy and education in support of the arts and humanities, and to seek out and provide resources to support arts and humanities to enrich the lives of its residents and visitors.

From 5:30 to 7:30 p.m. Tuesday, Feb. 22, the Cultural Council will sponsor An Evening of Arts & Culture, at the African American Cultural Society, 4422 N. U.S. 1, in Palm Coast. RSVP: 386-313-4229 or [email protected]. There will be light refreshments and a cash bar.

Join us to hear our plans for the future and share your vision too. Together we can help each other, support our arts and humanities programs, and share with the world the uniqueness and talent of Flagler County.

Guest Speakers:  Danila Coppola, Local Arts Agencies Coordinate – Florida Division of Arts and Culture and Christin Parrish-Stone, Executive Director – St. Johns Cultural Council.
