Flagler Baseball hosted the Cal Ripken Northern Florida Babe Ruth State Tournament for 9-and-under, 11-and-under and 18-and-under all-star baseball teams over the Fourth of July weekend.
The tournament was held at the Flagler County Recreation Area from June 30 to July 3. Four host Flagler teams competed as well as the Ormond Beach 9U squad, which earned a spot in the field by winning the District 4 championship.
Julington Creek won the 9U title with a 14-4 win in the title game over the Fort Caroline Athletic Association (Jacksonville) Tribe. Julington Creek advances to the regional tournament in Clemmons, North Carolina.
The Julington Creek Diamond Kings also won the 11U title with a 5-3 win over the FCAA Tribe in the final to advance to the regional in Stafford, Virginia. And Lutz won the 18U title with a 5-0 win over Julington Creek in the final to advance to the regional in Williamburg, Virginia.

9U: Ormond Beach defeated Wakulla County 15-0; lost to FCAA Lightning 13-0; lost to Levy Park 17-1.
9U: Flagler lost to Fleming Island Storm 15-5; lost to Levy Park 15-0.
11U: Flagler lost to Gainesville Titans 19-2; lost to Fleming Island Storm 19-4.
18U: Flagler lost to West Volusia Athletic Club — DeBary 12-1; lost to Bloomingdale, 9-1.
