Juvenile mischief

7:25 p.m. — 400 block of North Nova Road, Ormond Beach

Vandalism. Police responded to a local recreation center after receiving a call about a reckless driver.

Upon the reporting officer's arrival, two witnesses stated that they saw a red car with two juveniles driving around the center's parking lot, doing "donuts," according to the incident report. One of the witnesses, a 53-year-old Port Orange man, was riding his bike at the time and had to move out of the way because the girls almost hit him with their car.

The man said that the girls then parked their car and were hanging out "with some other males at the skate park." He parked his bicycle and began hanging out with some friends himself, when the second witness, a 17-year-old boy, went up to him and told him his bike was on the ground and that the bike light had been broken.

The boy told the man that he overheard the girls and guys laugh and say they tried to steal the man's bike lock. The man told police he wished to pursue charges.

Pedicure thief

Larceny. Police were dispatched to a local nail salon after a client failed to pay for her services.

According to the incident report, employees of the nail salon said that the woman, described as white with brown hair and blonde streaks, was acting as if she was "under the influence" during her pedicure, and asked to use the restroom and to go smoke a cigarette. One employee said the woman exited the bathroom and appeared to be running away, and employees weren't able to stop her.

She drove away in an older model white Jeep with 50th Disney anniversary plates. She had received $125 worth of services from the nail salon for a gel ombre pedicure, the police report states.
