Yolanda Ferrante Germano
1929-2022
Yolanda Ferrante Germano was born on January 10, 1929 at her family home in Bronx, NY. She passed away peacefully in her home on July 16, 2022 in Palm Coast, FL, surrounded by her family.
Yolanda was a devout Roman Catholic. Her faith was strong and unwavering. Through the years she was blessed and grateful to be able to contribute to the Catholic Church. Her present-day church was Santa Maria Del Mar in Flagler Beach, FL.
Yolanda’s PASSION WAS FASHION! She and her husband Joe moved to South Florida in 1951 where they operated several successful businesses throughout their marriage. Yolanda continued her zealous reign as a fierce and savvy business woman until 1999 when she sold her final business and retired to Palm Coast, FL. Through her successes she was able to give back to her community and provide generously to her family.
Yolanda’s legacy: She is survived by her children; daughter, Francine (Ron Widick) Hayes, son, John (Cindy) Germano, and daughter, JoAnn Germano; Her grandchildren, Melanie Hayes, Stephen C (Leah) Hayes, Wes (Joanna) Germano, Anthony Checchi, Joe (Christina) Checchi, and Vincent (Jasmine) Checchi; Her Great grandchildren, Stephen “Buddy” Hayes-Whaley, Dawson Germano, Dylan Germano, Calen Hayes, Jacob Hayes, Tanner Thornton, Travis Hayes, Dominic Checchi, Javier Checchi and Angelina Checchi; Her brother Natale (Clair) Ferrante; Sister-in-law Sally Malloy and many, many loving nieces and nephews.
Yolanda was preceded in death by her husband, Joseph Anthony Germano who passed away May 23, 1986, her parents, Paulo Ferrante and Francesca Mannino Ferrante, her brother, Joseph Ferrante, sisters; Domenica “Mae” Casola, Francesca “Frances” Comarato, Gilda “Jill” Casola & Rosalia “Rose” Catterson.

A Visitation will be held at Craig-Flagler Palms Funeral Home August 5, 2022 from 2-6pm. A Funeral Mass will be held at Santa Maria Del Mar Catholic Church August 6, 2022 at 11 am with burial to follow at Flagler Memorial Gardens.
