Palm Coast Fire Department Deputy Chief Bradd Clark has completed his second term as chairman of the International Fire Service Training Association's Executive Board.
“We are so proud of Chief Clark and the amazing work he has done while serving on the IFSTA executive board,” said incoming Fire Chief Kyle Berryhill, according to a city government news release. “The IFSTA is a very prestigious institution that really leads the fire service in a lot of ways, not only here in Palm Coast but across the country. We really appreciate Chief Clark’s service on the board and his dedication to helping firefighters everywhere.”
Clark began his fire service career in Virginia in 1984 and has served as a chairman or delegate on many IFSTA committees, including Fire Detection and Suppression, Aerial Apparatus Driver/Operator Handbook, Essentials, and Safety Officer, according to the news release.
The IFSTA executive board must be made up of 15-18 members. Clark was first elected to the board in 2005 and recently received a 25-year IFSTA participation recognition.
