Details: The June meeting of the Ormond Beach Area Democratic Club will be in-person and on Zoom. The club meets on the second Thursday of every month.

Details: Join the Friends of Washington Oaks for the monthly plant sale at Washington Oaks, featuring a selection of flowers, plants and bushes. All proceeds benefit the park. Regular park entrance fee applies: $5 per vehicle (2-8 people per vehicle), $4 per vehicle for single occupancy or $2 per person on a bicycle.

Details: The library will host a day of program on how to prepare for severe weather. At 11 a.m., library staff will explain how to use free library services, which can be downloaded to devices for entertainment during an extended power or internet outage. At noon, a basic cooking Recipes and Reads program will demonstrate how to make easy-to-cook fried rice using refrigerator leftovers (Call library to ensure samples). At 2 p.m., local meteorologist Mallory Nicholls will offer tips to prepare for severe weather. At 3 p.m., the American Red Cross will teach students in kindergarten through second grade how to be prepared. At 4 p.m. the Red Cross will help children in third through fifth grade create a personal emergency supply kit. Registration is not required for these programs. Call 386-676-4191.

Details: The next Racing Fingers Quilt Guild meeting will feature a program titled, "Exploring Disappearing Quilt Blocks," presented by Kendra Wiggins, who will show how to manipulate a simple quilt block to produce amazing results. Admission is free and the program is open to the public. Please park behind the church and enter via the kitchen door.

Details: See how Juneteenth plays out with music, dance, historical reenactment, other entertainment and games, as well as a bounce house for kids. Vendors selling food, jewelry, T-shirts, African clothing and artifacts, and more will be in attendance. Details: The Casements Camera Club presents its ninth-annual spring exhibit at The Casements in Ormond Beach. The exhibit of color as well as black and white images is open to the public during The Casements' gallery hours of Monday through Friday 8 a.m. to 5 p.m., and Saturdays from 8 a.m. to noon.
