Play Ball: Palm Coast Little League All-Star teams open play

Baseball, softball teams began All-Star tournaments on June 17.

The Palm Coast Little League began its All-Star tournament season on June 17. Each tournament is double-elimination. Here are Palm Coast's scores and upcoming schedule:

June 17: 10-Under baseball lost Lake Mary 15-0 at Palm Coast; 12U softball team lost to Lake Mary 6-5 at Lake Mary.

June 18: 11U baseball lost to Lake Mary 14-1 at Palm Coast.

June 19: 12U softball defeated DeLand 18-0 at Palm Coast; 10U baseball team lost to DeLand 14-1 at Palm Coast; 11U baseball team lost to DeLand 11-6 at DeLand.

June 20: 12U softball team defeated Lake Mary 9-5 at DeLand.

June 21: 12U softball defeated Lake Mary 11-1 to win the District 19 title; Senior baseball lost to host Deltona, 11-10.

June 22: Senior baseball hosts elimination game, 7 p.m.; 11U softball vs. Lake Mary at Palm Coast, 7 p.m.

June 27: 10U softball opens in DeLand, 7 p.m.

July 2: 12U softball opens play in sectional tournament at Rockledge.

July 6: 12U baseball opens in Lake Mary, 7 p.m.
