The Northeast Florida Regional Council is inviting citizens and stakeholders to attend its Affordable Housing Workshop Flagler County from 10 a.m. to noon on Wednesday, March 9.

Those wishing to attend in person at the Flagler County Commission Chambers, 1769 E. Moody Blvd., Building 2, Bunnell, need to register in advance at https://www.eventbrite.com/e/affordable-housing-workshop-flagler-county-tickets-277226591197. Those wishing to attend via Zoom should go to https://nefrc-org.zoom.us/j/82944578226 a few minutes before the meeting starts.

“This will be a great opportunity for our residents to weigh in on this critical topic,” said County Administrator Heidi Petito. “The need to address ways to bring workforce housing into our community comes up regularly, so it’s great that the Northeast Florida Regional Council is making this a regional conversation.”

Similar meetings are being held in Putnam, Clay, Baker, Duval, Nassau, and St. Johns counties.

Residents attending in person are asked to bring a smart phone to participate in polling.
