Locally owned and operated Rusty Wagon Redo Joint has moved to a new location at the intersection of Granada Boulevard and A1A at 226 E. Granada Blvd. in Ormond Beach.
This new location is a dream-come-true for owner and proprietor Rochelle Cannon, an entrepreneur and veteran. The gallery is one of Ormond Beach MainStreet’s newest members.
“This is my passion — and I’m so excited to finally have it up-front-and-visible here in beautiful Ormond Beach,” said Cannon, who is an artist and specializes in helping much-loved furniture get a second chance. “If you have beloved and precious pieces from great grandparents, parents, etc., or just pieces you’ve treasured, we can not only bring that furniture back to its former glory, we can help it fit your evolving aesthetic and lifestyle.”
In addition to furniture, the gallery has original artwork, home decor and giftware.
“We also feel this location helps us reach tourists who are looking for special selections and memories to bring home," Cannon said. "Additionally, this is the place to find classic-pieces regardless of the era or style — mid-century modern, island, mission, contemporary, retro. New pieces arrive each week to fit everyone’s taste."
Julia Truilo, executive director of Ormond Beach MainStreet commented welcomed the addition of Rusty Wagon Redo Joint to the downtown.
“They are a great fit both for our laid-back, beachy vibe and our growing arts scene," Truilo said. "They've already come on board as part of our Art Walk on the first Saturday of each month, helping promote local artists and welcoming visitors into their charming shop.”
