Details: Ormond Memorial Art Museum's free family art night returns to an in-person format at a new location as the museum undergoes construction. Adults with their children or grandchildren may drop in to create a mixed media and watercolor "April Showers" art project. The project will be taught by OMAM staff member and local art teacher Linda King. All art supplies are provided. Face coverings will be required while inside. Details: Based on the novel "The Phantom of the Opera" by Gaston Leroux, and inspired by the music of Andrew Lloyd Weber, see an interpretation of the love between the Phantom and Christine through flamenco. The Flamenco Alborea dance company combines flamenco with modern rhythms, passion and innovation to produce a contemporary form of the traditional Spanish dance. Tickets cost $30. Details: The library is offering two programs for adults who would rather work out while seated. On select Mondays, staff will lead "Sit and Be Fit" classes, which focus on stretch and strengthening exercises. On select Tuesdays, certified yoga instructor Carol Jones will offer a gentle chair yoga practice. Seating is limited. All fitness levels are welcome. Free and registrations are not required.
