Flagler County turnout at 43.7% on the afternoon before Election Day

Of 95,306 eligible Flagler County voters, 41,651 have cast their ballots.

A total of 43.7% of Flagler County's eligible voters have already cast their ballots as of the afternoon of Monday, Nov. 7, the day before Election Day. There are 95,306 registered voters in Flagler County, and 41,651 have voted.

Early voting ended on Saturday, Nov. 5; mail ballots are still coming in. 

Polls will be open from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. on Election Day, Nov. 8.

Of the total ballots received so far, 21,328 were cast by registered Republicans, 12,525 by registered Democrats, and 7,342 by people who have no party affiliation or are affiliated with minor parties, according to the Elections Office website.

There are 43,518 registered Republicans and 26,278 registered Democrats in the county. Approximately 49% of registered Republicans voters have voted, as have 47.66% registered Democrats.

Similar numbers of Republicans and Democrats voted by mail: 8,219 mail ballots came from Republicans, and 8,359 came from Democrats.

Republicans, however, have far outpaced Democrats in voting at early voting sites, where 13,109 Republicans have cast their ballots, compared to 4,166 Democrats.
