Three dogs and one cat have been featured as this week's Halifax Humane Society Adoptable Pets of the Week.

The first is Zella, a 4-year-old mixed breed dog with a brown coat. She has done great in a foster home, and gets along well with other dogs her size but plays rough with smaller dogs. Zella would do best in a family with no small animals. Her adoption fee has been waived.

The second is Nellie, a 5-year-old Labrador retriever mix with a yellow coat. Her adoption fee is $50.
