The deadline for persons to apply for assistance from FEMA and the Small Business Administration (SBA) due to Hurricane Ian is Nov. 28.
Persons impacted by Hurricane Ian may visit the Disaster Recovery Center (DRC) to apply for FEMA and SBA assistance. The DRC operates 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. Mondays through Saturdays at the Florida Department of Health-Volusia, 1845 Holsonback Drive, Daytona Beach.
Persons may also apply for FEMA assistance electronically by visiting disasterassistance.gov, using the FEMA mobile app or calling 800-621-3362. For SBA, an online loan application may be found at disasterloanassistance.sba.gov/ela/s/, by emailing [email protected] or by calling 800-659-2955.
