On Nov. 16, Embry-Riddle Athletics hosted Food Brings Hope’s Kidzone, Teenzone, FBHonors and Change the Code students at a men’s basketball game against the Flagler Saints. The evening made it possible for students to experience a live college basketball game.

As the students arrived, they were greeted by the Embry-Riddle women’s softball and volleyball teams, which cheered as the students entered the gymnasium. Food Brings Hope partnered with the Jersey Mike's Subs, located in the Tomoka Town Center, to prepare meals for the students.

This was the 13th year that Embry-Riddle hosted FBH after-school programs at a basketball game. Embry-Riddle made the winning basket, leaving the final score 82 – 67. The students were given Embry-Riddle spirit swag, which they got to use during the game to cheer on the team.

Over 300 students, sponsors, volunteers, and administration members attended the game.
