The U.S. Chamber of Commerce recently awarded the Daytona Regional Chamber of Commerce with its highest designation of "Accredited with Five Star Distinction."
“Chambers that achieve this level of accreditation distinction are truly leaders in their industry,” said Raymond P. Towle, U.S. Chamber vice president of federation relations. “... As a Five-Star Accredited chamber, they are recognized for their ability to serve as a resource to their region’s businesses while maintaining transparent governance practices, sound financial controls, safe work environments, effective communications and value in programming."
The accreditation process consists of nine application sections that are reviewed and completed by members of the chamber who serve on the accreditation committee
"This highest level of accreditation validates the impactful work and the leadership of the board of directors, the engagement of our members and the professional staff at the Daytona Regional Chamber," said Nancy Keefer, Daytona Regional Chamber president and CEO.
