Electric Vehicle Showcase set for Saturday, Oct. 22, in City Hall parking lot

Sustainable Flagler will host the event from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.

Sustainable Flagler will host an Electric Vehicle Showcase from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. on Saturday, Oct. 22 in the Palm Coast City Hall parking lot.

Sustainable Flagler is a Flagler Palm Coast High School Club, sponsored by teacher Kevin Saint.

"We will have an information booth set up where people can come and talk to our students about electric vehicles, how they work and how the future looks with them — charging, maintenance, etc.," Saint said.

Test rides will begin a 11 a.m. to allow vehicle owners a chance to network and see the other cars. Vehicles expected to be available for test rides include: 2022 Chevy Bolt EV, Tesla Model 3 SR+, Tesla Model 3 SR+, Tesla Model 3 Performance, Tesla Model Y, Tesla Model S Plaid, Ford Mach E Premium, Ford Mustang Mach E GT Performance, 2012 Nissan Leaf SV,  2021 Nissan Leaf SV Plus, Arcimoto FUV, and Kia EV6.

Expected display vehicles include: 2021 Tesla Model 3 Long Range, 2022 Tesla Model 3 Performance, 2022 Tesla Model Y Performance, Tesla Model S Plaid, Mercedes EQS 450, Rivian R1T, Rivian R1S, 2022 Chevy Bolt EUV, Ford Mustang Mach E, Ford Mustang Mach E GT, Ford F150 Lightning, Porsche Taycan, Rivian R1S and Audi E-Tron.

Dealerships that will participate in the event (with the vehicles they will be showing) include Tesla of Jacksonville (Tesla Model 3 and Y), Porsche of Jacksonville (Porsche Taycan) and Palm Coast Ford (Ford F150 Lightning and Ford Mustang Mach E).
