A “Flagler Fall Outreach” event will bring social service providers to Cattleman’s Hall at the Flagler County Fairgrounds on Friday, Nov. 18.
The event will be held from 1-4 p.m. at the fairgrounds at 150 Sawgrass Road, Bunnell. Service providers will offer free information, as well as assistance with things like free food and haircuts, according to a Flagler County government news release.
The Flagler County Health and Human Services Department is organizing the event.
“It really helps the community to have an event that provides one-stop shopping, if you will,” said Health and Human Services Director Joseph Hegedus. “There are times when people slip through the cracks for no other reason than they are unsure where to go for help. This is the place to be.”
In addition to Health and Human Services, the following agencies/services will be available, according to the news release:
“Human Services Program Manager Kim Bennett worked very hard to bring as many resources as possible to this event,” Hegedus said. “This is what community services is all about — and people and organizations coming together to help one another in Flagler County.”
