It was also expanding virtual learning, implementing eight new virtual learning platforms. The program had increased from 85 to 125 full-time students since the previous year.

- The City Commission was debating whether to temporarily halt fluoridation of the city's water supply, with commissioners expressing concern that the chemical company the city was buying its fluoride from wasn't promptly turning over data sheets showing that the company had been providing exactly what the city had purchased.
