The Flagler Sportfishing Club has created a junior angler program called "kids4reel," according to a club press release.
“Teaching clinics, scholarships, tournaments and ad hoc school fishing activities have always been a part of the club,” Captain Adam Morley, FSC’s president, said. “But we wanted to formalize this initiative and create additional interest in educating our youth in the sport of fishing.”
The FSC currently partners with the Coastal Conservation Association in the collection of live redfish in the annual Redfish Rodeo Classic for the CCA Florida Star tournament. The FSC contributes $5,000 a year for a scholarship presented by the CCA to a local junior angler.

The Flagler Sportfishing Club is one of the largest fishing clubs in North Florida with over 500 member families actively participating in club events. The club supports inshore, near shore, offshore, kayak, pier/bridge and surf fishing, with the help of local sponsors through education and tournaments. The FSC hosts 11 club tournaments and one annual public charity tournament.
