The Flagler Beach Historical Museum is marking its 21st anniversary with a "Moondance" fundraiser on Oct. 6.
The public is invited to the event, which will feature hors d’oeuvres, cocktails, dessert, and entertainment by Chillula, all under the moon. It will be held from 5:30 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. at Beachfront Grille, at 2444 S. Ocean Shore Blvd., Flagler Beach, according to a news release.
“We are so excited to be celebrating 21 years of bringing the history of our area to residents and tourists alike,” Museum Director Kathy Wilcox said, according to the news release. “Your support helps us continue to preserve the rich history of Flagler Beach for future generations and provide fun educational programs to the community.”
Tickets are $40 per person or two for $75 and can be purchased at flaglerbeachmuseum.org, by calling 386-517-2025 or at the museum, at 207 S. Central Ave., Flagler Beach.
Museum admission is free. The museum is open 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Monday through Sunday, or stop by the first Friday of each month when the museum stays open extended hours to celebrate Flagler Beach’s First Friday event in Veterans Park.
