The Flagler Humane Society is featuring two dogs and two cats as this week's Pets of the Week. Meet Cupcake, Chico, Fendy and Dippy.
Six-year-old Cupcake is a handsome male cat who is friendly and vocal. He enjoys playing with other cats but is fearful of dogs. Cupcake came into the shelter on June 10.
Chico is a 6-year-old male who is laid back and loves to be near people. He is house-trained and knows how to sit, come and stay. Chico came into the shelter on March 31.
Fendy is a 3-year-old female weighing around 50 pounds. Fendy loves playing fetch, is very friendly and loves meeting new people. She is good with other dogs but can be food-aggressive. She is also house- and crate-trained. Fendy came into the shelter on May 1.
Dippy, 3, is a female who came to the shelter after she was seized by Animal Control for being neglected. She can be cautious around new people but is curious and will take treats. Dippy is good with other cats and lives in one of the shelter's cat colonies with multiple cats. She came to the shelter on March 31.
The Flagler Humane Society, located at 1 Shelter Drive off U.S. 1 in Palm Coast, is open from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m.
Adoption fees vary based on the animal, and the shelter has both dogs and cats up for adoption.
Anyone who is interested in adopting or has questions about the process can contact the Flagler Humane Society at 386-445-1814 or apply online at flaglerhumanesociety.org.
