Chabad of Greater Daytona Beach will host a Chanukah celebration on Sunday, Dec. 10.
The event will run from 3-7 p.m. at its synagogue, located at 1079 W. Granada Blvd. in Ormond Beach.The festivities will include rock climbing, bungee jumping, an obstacle course, mini train ride, petting zoo and personalized caricature artwork, according to a press release. There will also be an LED and fire show at 5:30 p.m. and a live concert in solidarity with Israel, featuring Jewish singer Shuky Sadon.
In addition, the event will feature an outdoor menorah lighting ceremony, a glow dance party and food by Gili's kitchen.
Rabbi Asher Farkash extends an invitation to everyone in the community, emphasizing that "this Chanukah celebration embodies the spirit of miracles and unity," the press release states.
"Chanukah is a time of miracles, and together, let's create an unforgettable celebration filled with joy and solidarity," Farkash said.
