The Community Foundation and United Way of Volusia and Flagler Counties has announced the establishment of a new agency fund with the Jewish Federation of Volusia and Flagler Counties. The newly created fund is expected to be valued at $1 million dollars and aims to support the work of the Jerry Doliner Food Bank in the community.

"We are excited for the opportunity to partner with Community Foundation and United Way," said Rabbi Dr. Rob Lennick, executive director of the Jewish Federation of Volusia and Flagler Counties. "This fund will provide long-term financial stability and ensure that the Jerry Doliner Food Bank can continue its vital work, helping to nourish our neighbors and build a stronger, more resilient community."

The Jerry Doliner Food Bank services those in need in Volusia and Flagler Counties, regardless of religion or background. The Jewish Federation maintains a well-stocked weekly food bank that provides essential food to people lacking enough to feed their families.

"With the establishment of this fund, together with the Jewish Federation we aim to amplify the impact of the food bank's efforts and ensure its sustainability for generations to come," a press release by United Way stated.

This fund is the first partnership between Community Foundation and the Jewish Federation.
