Ormond Beach Police escorted Santa and Mrs. Claus around town last week for its Santa on Patrol initiative.
On Dec. 11, 13 and 15, Santa and Mrs. Claus visited different areas of the community, meeting up with residents to spread some holiday cheer. The outreach program was first launched by OBPD in 2014. This year's stops included Pine Trail Elementary, Ormond Manor, Ormond Beach Gymnastics Center, Coquina Center, La Petite Academy of Ormond Beach, Einstein Bros Bagels, Astro Skate of Ormond Beach and Salty Church.
