Palm Coast city offices will be closed on Monday, Dec. 25, Tuesday, Dec. 26 and Monday, Jan. 1 for the Christmas and New Year's holidays.

There will also be no garbage collection on Dec. 25 or Jan. 1, a city press release said. Instead, services will occur on the next scheduled pick-up days, Dec. 28 and Jan. 4. Recycling services will take place as scheduled on Jan. 1 and trash and recycling will remain as-scheduled for all other days around the holidays.

Palm Coast will also host its 17th annual Christmas Tree Recycling on Jan. 6 from 8 a.m. to 12 p.m. at the Palm Coast Fuel Depot at 22 Utility Drive. Residents who donate their Christmas trees will receive a three-gallon evergreen tree while supplies last, the press release said.

All decorations, lights, tinsel and ornaments should be removed from the Christmas trees prior to donating.
