Thomas Rabeno enlisted in the U.S. Air Force at the age of seventeen. A veteran of the Vietnam War, he spent a year in Cam Ranh Bay and earned a Vietnam Service Medal with one bronze service star, Republic of Vietnam Campaign Medal, and an Air Force Commendation Medal, among others. During his time in the Air Force, Rabeno also served at McGuire Air Force Base, New Jersey; Otis Air Force Base, Massachusetts; Suffolk County Air Force Base, New York; and temporary duty at Okinawa Air Base, Japan. Rabeno became a real estate agent in 1979, and then a broker in 1981. He owned a real estate company in Suffolk County, New York until 1998, when he and his wife, Carol, moved to Palm Coast. Rabeno keeps busy today as a broker associate with Florida Homes Realty and Mortgage.
