Volusia Sheriff's Office Deputies have arrested three suspects of an armed robbery of an Ormond-by-the-Sea gas station convenience store in December, with the final suspect taken into custody on Friday, Feb. 10.

According to VSO, a masked suspect entered the Speedy-Mart at the Chevron gas station at 1716 Ocean Shore Blvd. at around 9:47 p.m. on Dec. 19. While brandishing a gun at the clerk on duty, he demanded money, which he received prior to fleeing the store.

On Tuesday, Feb. 14, VSO reported that detectives used surveillance video from the area, license plate readers, cell data and other evidence to identify 18-year-old Even Stidham and 19-year-olds Tyler Evans and Bradley Fahey as persons of interest in the case. The agency reports its investigation revealed the three men planned the robbery together.

Stidham was arrested on Jan. 20. Evans was arrested on Jan. 27, and Fahey was arrested on Feb. 10. All three remain at the Volusia County Branch Jail on charges of principal to robbery with a firearm and possession of a firearm by a delinquent. Additionally, Stidham was charged with providing false information to law enforcement during a felony investigation.
