Katelyn Clancy is a veteran of the war in Afghanistan. She was deployed to the combat zone directly out of boot camp in support of Operation: Enduring Freedom, and she was awarded an Army Commendation Medal for her service. Following her enlistment, she returned home to Philadelphia and utilized her Army training and skills in food service and worked at a large banquet facility. Clancy relocated to Palm Coast in 2021. She proudly works as a sous-chef at Dalmare Italian Chophouse, a restaurant on South Atlantic Avenue in Ormond Beach.
