Joseph Holt

Joseph Holt enlisted in the Marine Corps at the age of 17. He served in overseas assignments in Okinawa, Japan and South Korea. For his honorable service, Holt received the National Defense Service Medal, Good Conduct Medal and a Meritorious Unit Commendation. He is a prolific author, having written 11 books, including "Your Brain is the Key to the Universe." Having lived in Hawaii, and due to his laid back personality, he is known by his friends as "Aloha Joe." Holt is the father of two sons and proud grandpa of two granddaughters. He resides in Palm Coast and is the historian for American Legion Post 115, Assistant Quartermaster to Veterans of Foreign Wars (VFW) Post 8696, and Secretary of the VFW Riders. Holt is a Life Member of the DAV and VFW.
