Free assistance is available for people who have been defrauded by contractors, businesses or others.

Seniors Vs Crime, a special project of the Attorney General's Office, offers trained case workers to help people in civil disputes with contractors and other businesses or individuals who may have taken advantage of them financially. 

Its goal is to reduce the victimization of citizens who are often targets of specific crimes or scams.
