Two dogs have been featured as this week's Halifax Humane Society Adoptable Pets of the Week.
The first is Rowan, a 7-year-old terrier and American Staffordshire mix with a black and white coat. According to HHS, staff members would describe him as a "well-mannered, distinguished gentleman." He loves to take walks, play and receive affection. His adoption fee is $75.
The second is Poseidon, a 7-year-old Chinese Shar-Pei mix with a white and black coat. He came to HHS in November 2022 when his family lost their home. He is very friendly, playful, loyal and affectionate, and would do well in a household with children. His adoption fee is $75.
The Halifax Humane Society's adoption lobby, located at 2364 LPGA Blvd., is open to the public daily from noon to 6 p.m. Admissions are accepted daily from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m.
Appointments are required for admissions, boarding and grooming. There is no appointment required to visit the adoption lobby. Masks are not required but encouraged if you are not feeling well or may have been recently exposed to COVID-19. To adopt, contact [email protected] or call 274-4703.
