One rabbit, two dogs and one cat have been featured as this week's Halifax Humane Society Adoptable Pets of the Week.
The rabbit is George, a 1-year-old American rabbit with a brown and white coat. He was surrendered due to his owner not being able to care for him. He is friendly and loves treats. Call for adoption fee.
The first dog is Lenox, a 7-year-old mixed breed with a white and brown coat. She came to the Halifax Humane Society as a stray, and while she was fearful at first, she has since blossomed into a playful pup. Her adoption fee is $75.
The second is Gus, an 8-year-old hound mix with a black, white and brown coat. When Gus was brought to the shelter, he was severely underweight, but HHS states he is much healthier now. His adoption fee is $75.
Last but not least is Minnie, a 1-year-old domestic medium-haired cat with a black and white coat. She was surrendered as part of a litter of five. Call for adoption fee.
The Halifax Humane Society's adoption lobby, located at 2364 LPGA Blvd., is open to the public daily from noon to 6 p.m. Admissions are accepted daily from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m.
