Community Foundation and United Way of Volusia-Flagler Counties holds inaugural Ponce Inlet Nonprofit Fair

On Thursday, April 27, the Community Foundation and United Way of Volusia-Flagler Counties held its first nonprofit fair at the Ponce Inlet Community Center. 

The event was filled with attendees, food and nonprofits providing information about their impact on the community.

The Community Foundation helps steward charitable giving by working with donors to create funds that support a variety of causes. Through its grant-making, the Community Foundation supports a wide range of nonprofits, helping them achieve their missions and make a difference in the community, such as Easterseals Northeast Central Florida. 

The Community Foundation granted Easterseals $10,000 from the HELP Fund of Southeast Volusia. This grant will allow Easterseals to provide educational trainings to increase staff and family's knowledge about autism to assist with early identification and red flags associated with Autism Spectrum Disorder.

At thefair, the Community Foundation showcased a variety of charitable organizations, including:

  • Atlantic Center for the Arts
  • Volusia County Women Who Care
  • Daytona Beach CVB (Daytona Beach Area Convention and Visitors Bureau)
  • FUTURES Foundation for Volusia County Schools
  • Ponce Inlet Lighthouse and Museum
  • Community Foundation and United Way of Volusia-Flagler Counties
  • Ponce Inlet Lions Club
  • Marine Science Center
