Candidates line up in Renner district

The race to replace term-limited House Speaker Paul Renner, R-Palm Coast, continues to get more crowded.

The race to replace term-limited House Speaker Paul Renner, R-Palm Coast, continues to get more crowded. 

Palm Coast Republican Darryl Boyer opened a campaign account this week to become the fourth candidate planning to run in 2024 in House District 19 in Flagler and St. Johns counties, according to the state Division of Elections website. 

Other candidates with open accounts are Republicans Donald O’Brien and James St. George and Democrat Thomas Adam Morley. Also this week, Riverview Democrat Harrison Fitzgerald Lundy opened an account to challenge Rep. Danny Alvarez, R-Hillsborough County, in House District 69.
