Two sweet dogs and a bonded pair of guinea pigs are in the spotlight for this week's Pets of the Week from the Flagler Humane Society.

Wayne, a 2-year-old bulldog mix, has been at the shelter since March 21. He loves everyone and all animals, including children, dogs, cats, birds and livestock: He has even made a new friend (see below) since joining the shelter group. He came to the shelter as a stray and is looking for a loving home with plenty of family and friends.

Orus and Sedna are a bonded pair of female guinea pigs, less than a year old. The two are very friendly, they like to be handled and they even give kisses. It is only $10 to adopt the pair of them.

Toby is a 1-year-old hound mix looking for a loving home. He’s good with other dogs and great with people. Would be better with older kids as he’s learning good doggie manners. Toby has been at the shelter since April 11.

The Flagler Humane Society is located at 1 Shelter Drive on U.S. 1 in Palm Coast. It is open from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m.

Adoption fees vary based on the animal, and the shelter has both dogs and cats up for adoption.

Anyone who is interested in adopting or has questions about the process can contact the Flagler Humane Society at 386-445-1814 or apply online at flaglerhumanesociety.org.
