The Friends of the Ormond Beach Library will present a concert by Linda Cole, jazz singer and a member of the legendary Nat “King” Cole family, at 2 p.m. Thursday, Dec. 21 in the Ormond Beach Library auditorium.
Cole has had a long and celebrated career as a master of musical genres including jazz, gospel, country and pop. Among her many musical credits are performances with The London Symphony Orchestra, the Count Basie Orchestra, The Temptations, Bela Fleck and the Flecktones, Spyro Gyra and Chuck Mangione. She has recorded several albums such as “Linda Cole Sings the Great American Songbook” and “Linda Cole Live at the Garden” which feature classical jazz songs as well as original compositions.
Cole is celebrating six decades of live performances. This concert is free and open to the community.
