Small Business Saturday brings holiday cheer to downtown, promotes Ormond businesses

Small Business Saturday also marked the launch of the "Santa Scavenger Hunt," which will conclude on Dec. 2.

Ormond Beach MainStreet celebrated its 14th annual Small Business Saturday on Nov. 25.

The one-day shopping and dining event featured dozens of locally-owned restaurants, shops, galleries and offices, according to a press release. The event aimed to encourage people to "shop small and eat local." This year, Ormond MainStreet also participated in the American Express Neighborhood Champion Program to spotlight small businesses and their impact on the community. 

Small Business Saturday also marked the launch of the "Santa Scavenger Hunt," where players can compete to locate Santa at various destinations along Granada Boulevard. Winners will receive gift cards for restaurants and shops located within the downtown district.

The scavenger hunt ends on Dec. 2.
