Meet Coco, Doug, Diogi and Ellery, this week's featured adoptable pets from the Flagler Humane Society.
Coco, 3, is a sweet and playful female chocolate Lab mix who loves to play in the water and play fetch.
Doug, 1, is a handsome male cat who was one of 35 cats brought in through animal control after being seized from a hoarding situation. Doug has been neutered and nurtured back to health and is ready for his forever home.
Diogi, 10, is a male miniature pinscher and chihuahua mix. He was surrendered to the shelter on Sept. 8 when their owner moved and was unable to take him along. Diogi likes to be pet and be around people, he also seems to do well with other dogs and new people.
Ellery, 10, is a sweet female cat who is friendly with new people and new cats. Ellery was surrendered to the shelter in May due to her previous owner not being able to properly care for her and their other eight cats. Her adoption fee has been sponsored.
The Flagler Humane Society is open from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. at 1 Shelter Drive in Palm Coast.
Adoption fees vary based on the animal, and the shelter has both dogs and cats up for adoption.
Anyone who is interested in adopting or has questions about the process can contact the Flagler Humane Society at 386-445-1814 or apply online at flaglerhumanesociety.org.
