Big Mac was found tied up to a street sign and abandoned with another dog, yet remains such a loving, happy, friendly boy with everyone he meets - even other dogs. He has a sweet, gentle temperament with people and dogs, so he could do well with cats and children too. Photo courtesy of the Flagler Humane Society

Meet Ben, Smiles, Big Mac and Kali, this week's featured adoptable pets from the Flagler Humane Society.

Ben, 1, was brought to the shelter after being seized from a hoarding situation alongside 34 cats and another dog. Ben is a sweet, well-mannered young boy who is good with other dogs and children. He loves to play fetch and get lots of pets.

Kali was surrendered to the shelter on Sept. 5 for being food and toy aggressive with the three large dogs in the home. However, Kali has done well with young children under 5 years old and cats. She is a loving, sweet girl who would make a great family dog.
