Daytona Beach International Airport is recognizing American Airlines for 15 years of service at the county-managed airport.

On Monday, Oct. 16, airport staff will provide cupcakes to passengers on all arriving and departing AA flights; balloons and signage will decorate the gates and ticket counter areas. US Airways began service at DAB in January of 2008 and was acquired by AA in October of 2015.

“American Airlines has been a great partner and we look forward to continued years of success and growth of the airline here at DAB,” said Joanne Magley, director of air service development and marketing for the airport.

AA provides daily, nonstop service to Charlotte, North Carolina, and seasonal service to Dallas-Fort Worth, Texas; Philadelphia, Pennsylvania; and Washington, DC.
