Tomahawk Tavern closes doors, effective immediately

The announcement for the closure was made on the restaurant's Facebook page on Oct. 24.

Tomahawk Tavern has announced it is closing down "effective immediately."

The Tavern was opened in October 2021 by Jeremy Pombier, Tony Russo and David Kimble. The announcement was made on the restaurant's Facebook page on Oct. 24, but offered no explanation for why the restaurant was closing its doors. 

"We would like to thank all of our employees for their hard work and dedication, and to express sincere gratitude to our customers who helped support us through this venture," the post said. "We will miss you all."

The Tomahawk Tavern, located at 2535 N. State St. in Bunnell, was opened as a high-end steakhouse with an axe-throwing entertainment area.
