Michael’s ‘Ohana, a local nonprofit, recently presented Halloween "Cards of Kindness" for The Arc Jacksonville, lead by International Junior Miss Italy Jr. Preteen Gianna Capri and her fourth-grade class at St. Brendan’s Catholic School in Ormond Beach.

Gianna's fourth grade class made cards on Wednesday, Oct. 25, and delivered Halloween treats to those individuals who participate in the day program at The Arc Jacksonville, which helps people with intellectual and developmental disabilities.

The Arc Jacksonville has had a wonderful impact on Gianna’s family as well, according to a press release. Her brother Anthony, a ninth grader at Morning Star School, had the opportunity to participate in a two-week ICareer Camp over the summer aimed at preparing students for community employment.

Michael’s ‘Ohana was founded in June 2021 in memory of Ormond Beach resident Michael Alberico, Gianna's uncle. It partners with nonprofits raising money and gift donations for those with special needs.
