Meet Meet Nibbles, Eggroll, Ellie and Freja, this week's featured adoptable pets from the Flagler Humane Society.
Eggroll, 3, is one of the 32 cats who recently came in from a hoarder situation. Eggroll has been nurtured back to health after living in poor conditions and is ready to be adopted. He is a friendly, laid back, handsome male cat.
Ellie, 3, is a sweet and smart girl who knows numerous commands and is crate trained. She has had some bad experiences with men, which makes her fearful around men or unknown people. Ellie needs to build trust with new people and animals before being brought into the home.
Nibbles, a sweet, laid back, 7 year-old-female, has been waiting at the shelter since June for her forever home. Nibbles is good with other cats and she is friendly with new people.
Freja, 7, is a gorgeous female who is , loving and affectionate once she gets to know someone. Freja has fear aggression towards people she doesn't know and needs a patient, understanding owner who can work with her to help overcome it and reassure she is safe.
The Flagler Humane Society is open from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. at 1 Shelter Drive in Palm Coast.
Adoption fees vary based on the animal, and the shelter has both dogs and cats up for adoption.
Anyone who is interested in adopting or has questions about the process can contact the Flagler Humane Society at 386-445-1814 or apply online at flaglerhumanesociety.org.
