Belle Terre Elementary School students were temporarily moved to Indian Trails Middle School on Tuesday morning, Sept. 26, because of a power outage at BTES, Flagler Schools announced.

Power was restored later in the day.

"Due to last night's storm, Belle Terre Elementary School does not currently have power and is expected to be without power for a few hours," a post on the district's website stated. "Students that come to school will be temporarily moved to Indian Trails until the power is back on at Belle Terre."

Parents were told in a message that if they chose to keep their child at home, it would count as an excused absence.
